Games

Compared to other artforms (music, films, literature), game design is my most recent passion. I used to make tabletop and video games as a kid, but I never finished anything and for a long while games were just something I played on my PC. In 2018 I suddenly started playing board games again and designing them with vigour. It came into my life like a comet and it's a beautiful artform, even though I'm still not very good at it.

Lineon (2021) (PUZZLES)

Lineon is a book of paper-and-pen puzzles for one player. It separates itself from similar puzzles like Sudoku, Picross or Connect-The-Dots by telling a story. It is a story about lethal chases, frantic battles – and about saving a little girl’s life. All is told by just drawing lines between points.

Kul ti bo Cover majhen.jpg
Kul ti bo (2020) (A TOOL)

This is not really a game, more of a tool for a more positive lifestyle, but it uses 7 cards and a die, so I put it in the games section. I genuinely think that we can program our thoughts and lives with carefully placed triggers. "Kul ti bo" is such a trigger - every morning you roll the die, move as many cards to the back of the pile as there are pips, and the card you see on the top of the pile is your card for the day.
